Clean Air Works, a project of the Regional Air Quality Board, brings together businesses, elected officials, and public staff from cities and counties throughout Charlotte to work on projects to improve air quality.

Clean Air Works held its 2007 Champions Luncheon on October 9 at Harris Conference Center, acknowledging 12 companies and 10 individuals for their notable efforts to reduce ozone emissions and encourage alternative commute options.

NewDominion Bank was recognized with The Best New Partner Award, presented to companies for joining Clean Air Works in 2007 and successfully implementing and maintaining their Clean Air Works programs.
